Once you submit your child's information, local volunteers review and approve the registration.
Step 3
Registrations are processed at the beginning of each month for mailing the following month.
Step 4
Deliveries are staggered throughout the month based on your child's age.
Step 5
Once registered, your child will receive a welcome book, The Little Engine That Could. Afterward, they will receive a new, age-appropriate book every month. Their final book, marking graduation from the program, is Look Out, Kindergarten! Here I Come!
Little Explorers of the Plaines is excited to be a local program partner of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. We invite families in ZIP Codes 60016, 60018, and 60068 to sign up for free, monthly books in the mail for children ages 0-5.
Books will start shipping to registered families 8-10 weeks after we reach our initial fundraising goal of $31,000. Check our social media and website for updates on our progress!
